NEWS UPDATE: The 1st.of MARCH 2010

I'm contributing two of my images to the exhibition "DREAMSCAPE" at "LOODS 6" in AMSTERDAM. The exhibition starts on the 13th. of March at 14h.00 to 18h.00. I shall be in Amsterdam from the 11th. of March to the 15th.

You could buy some GICLÉES soon from Claus Brusen and also MARCEL SALOME. There shall be about 6 limited editions from Marcel Salome very soon, so I shall add the dates as soon as I know. Some of my images shall also be included in the book "DREAMSCAPE - 2010". This is a link to Imaginary Editions.

Lots of people want to buy my old books and keep them forever, but I have no publisher for those. I have scanned all the Ektachrome images for all my old books "MICKY'S NEW HOME", "MYTHOPOEIKON", "TINKER THE HOLE-EATING DUCK", "THE PENTATEUCH OF THE COSMOGONY" , "HALLELUJAH ANYWAY", "THE SECOND EARTH" , "HALLELUJAH ANYWAY" and "THE DORBOTT OF VACUO". They are on DVD's, some as JPEG, Adobe and TIFF. I have also added the old pages and the LIST of my images. If you are a publisher or know a good one, call me by e-mail and we could have a good chat about that. When "Micky's New Home" was first done in Welsh, the price was £1.90, but in 2008 someone wanted to buy one from me paying £100! It was also done in English and German. I really am in charge of all these books, and when I look at some of the old pages, I could make them a lot better on Abobe Photoshop and Adobe InDecign etc.! I am now doing a new book called "GREEN ART", so I now have to finish two paintings that are just undercoats and it shall take me months to finish them and the book, anyway it should have a very good effect! I shall also include some good photographs of "EDEN PROJECT" because that is green!

In 2009, I added a lot of my "tomograph" images to the exhibition "The Truth About Faeries?" at SOUTHAMPTON CITY ART GALLERY, and that shall happen again this year - 2010.

This is a message from Claus Brusen : "I shall be attending the "Nearfest" (http://www.nearfest.com/) in USA June 2010 with Mark Wilkinson showing among other things like "Benign Icons" and some of Patrick Woodroffe's giclée prints from old albums".

This is also a painting for my new book "GREEN ART". I finished it on 12.01.10.

2010/1 The title is - "The Green Tower" Dimensions : A. CLOSED 215x345x105 mm. B. OPEN 359x345x125 mm.

I've already added this painting to the pages of my new book "GREEN ART". I finished it on 12.11.09.

2009/6 The title is - "Questions with no words... ...Good replies from GOD!" Dimensions : A. CLOSED 265x410x140 mm. B. OPEN 520x410x150 mm.

I did this painting as the book-cover for my new book "GREEN ART" I finished it on 14.10.09.

2009/5 The title is - "I see all Wind Turbines like pretty FLOWERS!" It was odd when I finished it - I didn't like it, but in the next morning I thought it was good and lots of people at Falmouth Art Gallery said the same thing!

When I started this painting, it did seem that I had a good message from God! I finished it on 04.09.09.

2009/4 The title is in French - "C'est ma clé en Symétrique!"

Do you think that a French monk with a key gave me the title?

Dimensions - Closed: 26x39.5x10.5 cms. Open: 44x39.5x10.5 cms.

I finished this painting in March. I was inspired because in 2007 I had a prediction about my daughter Rosie being pregnant in June - 2008. That was true and she talked to us about that just after the funeral of my mother B.M.W. in June! My prediction was for a grandson, and after the scan it was to be a girl, but it was a boy - Jago - who was born on the day when I came back from Switzerland in December! Rosie Woodroffe and Simon Hedges both work for the Wildlife Concervation Society, looking after the wild dogs and elephants, etc. It was strange when I started the sketch - the baby looked like a boy. JAGO is now eight months old, and now he always looks at the flowers, trees, animals and birds! He never know what he shall work for in the future!

2009/2: "W.C.S. - Double You... See - YES!"

Dimensions 455x613 mm.

In February I finished this one, which seems to have a good message from God!

In January I had to finish this new frame for my very old painting, which I did in 1977 for my publisher "Dragon's World" - the calendar 1978. Falmouth Art Gallery, where I have lots of good friends - mainly Brian Stewart who is in charge, wanted to buy this painting in 2005, when I had a big exhibition there. It's now in the collection of Falmouth Art Gallery.

You don't need the real website address for Claus's new gallery "FANTASMUS"... just search, and you shall find it on the TOP! I finished a big new painting that I hope shall work well mainly as a poster for that Gallery. The main title is - "Our DEN with a MARK!" When I was at FANTASMUS in June 2009, the TV included a lot of that!

Denmark really is very green, so that's why I did this image including wind-farms, etc. This image shall be included in my new book (no title) just to encourage young people to do really good paintings that can last forever - positive messages, nature, green, God etc. I've already finished Chapter C about Falmouth Art Gallery so when I printed all the pages, all the people who work there were very pleased!

My new book "BENIGN ICONS" was printed in 2008.

The price shall go down, so it would be a good idea to contact the publisher Claus Brusen Mikkelsen - FANTASMUS on this next address mainly because the book is cheaper now than when it was launched.

This book is also possible to buy via Bud's ArtBooks.com and also "Freaks Bookshops" - Barcelona/Spain.

There are 224 pages (23x31 cms.) with hard cover and dustjacket. The weight is approximately 1.7 kilograms, so the cost of sending it by post shall be slightly different depending on which country you are in.

It was launched on the 14.06.08 at "FANTASMUS" C.A.I.I.R. - Centre for Art International Imaginary Realism, GROENNEGADE 3, 9300 SAEBY, DENMARK.

LIMITED EDITION A.) - 30: One book in a box with the giclée prints of P/55 "The Metamorphosis of the Tiger" The illustrations that I did for my old book "The Pentateuch of the Cosmogony" - 1978. COST - 1000 Euros.

"THE FORGET-ME-NOT GARDENER"

My recent Swiss/Cornish book (2005), a graphic novel twinning Le Château de Gruyères (www.gruyeres.ch/chateau) with Pendennis Castle (Falmouth) was published by Éditions Gruériennes (BULLE, Switzerland - www.lagruyere.ch/editions-grueriennes). I was in Switzerland in November 2006 - at "BDmania" Fribourg.

"CALENDAR FOR 2010"
This is the same cover for the new one 2010. So, have a look at their website.

My Swiss publisher Éditions Gruériennes (BULLE, Switzerland - www.lagruyere.ch/editions-grueriennes) designed this calendar for 2006. If you need to contact them about sales, distribution, etc. then use their website address.

EXHIBITIONS, ETC. UNDER DISCUSSION:

In 2012 shall have a big exhibition at Truro ROYAL CORNWALL MUSEUM.

"LA ROUTE DES CLOCHES"
Still no dates defined.

My Swiss project is progressing very slowly, the only real news being that "La cloche de la Gruyère" is included in Chapter 10 of my book "The Forget-me-not Gardener" and also in the project to re-do the paving of the village of Gruyères. The "plaquette" (a large brochure to be sent to all potential collaborators, sponsors, cantonal councils, etc., etc.) is also a potential bande dessinée in collaboration with Éditions Gruériennes (BULLE, Switzerland). In fact the first bell/sculpture - for the village of Gruyères (FRIBOURG) - should be realised within a few years. The project's Swiss Contact is Georges Baechler of Fribourg, so if you want to know more about this, then please contact him. For addresses, etc. please access the BELLS page.

"LA TOUR DU PRISONNIER"
Permanent exhibition.

My exhibition of 62 transparent reproductions (Ilfochrome Classic), displayed in light-boxes in the former Prison Tower in Le Château de Gruyères, Switzerland, is now defined as permanent. The project was realised in collaboration with ILFORD AG, Marly, Fribourg. So, have a look at their website: www.ilford.com

"SIDH & BANSHEES IMAGES"
Some reproductions available now.

This small French images publisher produced a selection of eight of my most popular images as post-cards and two as book-marks. There was also a plan to produce a collection of similar images (24x30cm) for a portfolio. A website for this small company is still in progress, so all we can give you now is the e-mail address: . sidhbanshees.images@freesbee.fr

"FCC"=FOUND COINS COLLECTION

I found 1057 in 2004, 692 in 2005, 1057 in 2006, 906 in 2007, 719 in 2008 and 1250 in 2009.

On this month - February - I found 82 coins, so the total is now 12,125.

My obsession to pick up and keep any coins I find does continue, and I'm sure that it still helps to keep me fit. It nearly always seems to fit in as coincidences. This obsession is included in my recent book "The Forget-me-not Gardener", so I added a lot of the coins found that year to my little sculpture "The Symmetry of Love" exhibited in Gruyères Castle. In fact I have been doing this since 1988 when I found a German coin (Deutsche Mark) on the pavement in Brixton straight after delivering paintings to be sent out to the Munich exhibition mentioned on the list of past exhibitions. It is utterly daft! But... it does keep me fit and my scanning vision stays extremely perceptive.
